Meet Julie

After years of performing personal bookkeeping and financial organization for family and friends, Julie formed her own business as The Small bookkeeper, LLC, providing clarity, organization and professionalism to each client’s set of circumstances.


Julie has degrees in computer technology support, court reporting, and accounting; all of which require a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, thoroughness, and  completion of projects and reports in a timely manner.


With over 20 years of experience, Julie has been associated with several professional organizations, including The American Association of Daily Money Managers and Chesapeake Professional Women's Network.  Additionally, she is a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor.   She has also served as the treasurer of a small non-profit organization in Kentucky prior to relocating to Maryland with her family, and currently is on the Board of Directors of Northern Chesapeake STEM Inc.
